World received funding from hrsa to provide covid education
World received funding from hrsa to provide covid education and workforce development in alameda county. Through this program, which began in August of 2021 the agency conducted 100 community events, conducted outreach to 6,900 community members and was able to get 459 persons vaccinated and 241 boosted for covid-19. In 2021, world wrapped up its alameda county covid isolation care kit delivery grant resulting in 541 successful deliveries to persons in the households of someone who tested positive for covid-19.
