Program
Public affairs advocates for reproductive health care servic
Public affairs advocates for reproductive health care services in settings which preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual. Public affairs works with national, state and local officials to make sure that reproductive health care is recognized as a basic and essential health care service. Through community and grass roots organizing, public affairs seeks to improve access to family planning services and to ensure the availability of accurate sexuality education in public schools. Events include, but are not limited to, recruiting and training volunteers, organizing visibility events, and sponsoring other activities that affect public policy. 132,318 individuals were served during the year.
