Certified by the office of the attorney general, YWCA oklahoma city's c.A.R.E. Programs serve victims of domestic violence (dv), sexual assault (sa) and stalking who are seeking a life free from abuse. The c.A.R.E. Programs include the following services: crisis hotlines, advocacy, emergency residential shelter, and forensic nurse exams. These programs provide a wide array of wrap-around, multi-culturally competent and trauma-informed services for adult and child victims. During this fiscal year, 4,710 calls were made to our five 24/7/365 crisis hotlines. 2,402 clients received advocacy service to help clients regain choice, independence and self-sufficiency. Safety, food and shelter were provided to 417 clients through emergency residential services and 473 clients received specialized care and support along with a forensic exam.
