Mission

Part 1: the organization's mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. - Part 3: girl scouts builds girls of courage, confidence, & character who make the world a better place. We prioritize creating fun, safe spaces where girls of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves. Progressive girl scout experiences, designed for girls ages 5-17, challenge girls to discover their strengths, learn new skills, build resiliency, & innovate creative solutions to life's challenges. They learn to make new friends, help others, embrace leadership, & discover their voices as they advocate for change on issues most important to them. Creating safe spaces also means girl scouts embraces the support of partners & donors who specialize in equity, and all aspects of personal wellness, including mental, social, emotional, & physical. All experiences are funded by a balance of philanthropy & fundraising & are delivered by caring adults, both volunteers & staff. We prioritize safety, leadership development & using a trauma-informed, equity lens to support all girls.
