Program

Harbor house provided services and housing to homeless women

Harbor house provided services and housing to homeless women recovering from chemical dependency. All were directed to and served by appropriate agencies to advance their education, employability and most of all, to maintain sobriety and embrace a healthy and wholesome lifestyle. The residents were connected to all eligible mainstream resources - i.E. Food stamps, insurance coverage and health services (behavioral and mental). Harbor house embraces a recovery house model for its operation, that is, it utilizes the energies and efforts of the residents for peer-management and peer support for the objectives of the program.
