The association for pre- and perinatal psychology and health focuses attention on the life-changing discoveries being made in the first period of human development from preparation for pregnancy through the postpartum period and establishment of breastfeeding. The organization promotes research, educates through conferences and seminars, and publishes a newsletter and a journal. It serves approximately 500 members in the u.S., Canada and 15 other countries.
