The organization, founded by breast cancer survivors, serves breast and gynecological cancer patients and their families, regardless of age, stage or socio-economic status, through provision of critical social services free of charge. In 2021, the organization provided over 151,000 healthy meals, 16,000 rides to treatment, 1,100 housecleaning kits (housecleaning services are temporarily postponed during the pandemic for the safety of clients' immunocompromisedsystems) and 80 virtual peer support/education events. Prg continually and actively pursues opportunities to connect breast and gynecological cancer survivors with clients actively seeking treatment and holds monthly peer support meetings that focus on fellowship, while providing education for all aspects of breast and gynecological cancer care and recovery.
