Families in the homeless system are housed in two transition

Families in the homeless system are housed in two transitional apartment building in New York city, as well as one transitional shelter in westchester county. In addition to providing food and shelter, these programs help the women identify and overcome barriers to success, stabilize their families and improve their well-being, find and keep gainful employment, and ultimately live independently in the community. During fiscal year 2021, 464 women and children were served in these safe, dignified, gender-responsive, and trauma-sensitive environments. Providence house also received donated services amounting to $86,115.
