Outdoor program services - raising girls' awareness of their stewardship responsibilities toward the environment is a key goal in girl scouting. Girls are passionate about saving their environment and want opportunities to make meaningful contributions to their future. The love your camp days, community clean up days, summer camp, and troop camping allows girls to demonstrate their skills and appreciate the outdoors.There are many other unique patch programs focusing on wetlands, invasive species, pond life and watersheds which immerse girls in learning while having fun. Girls discover, connect and take action to make the world a better place.

THE GIRL SCOUTS OF CONNECTICUT IS THE LARGEST ALL-GIRL ORGANIZATION IN THE STATE WORKING WITH GIRLS OF ALL RACIAL, ETHNIC, RELIGIOUS, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL BACKGROUNDS.
