Criminal justice response program through an office on violence against women "improving criminal justice responses to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking grant program" we provided training and technical assistance to member domestic violence resource centers, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders on the implementation of the ontario domestic abuse risk assessment (odara). We supported two high risk response domestic violence advocates who facilitated local high risk response teams (hrrt)s and provided safety planning and support services to victims and their dependents. We also initiated the development of best practices for enhanced safety planning and specialized case management services for victims of trafficking. We provided training for domestic violence advocates and law enforcement on the issue of risk assessment and human trafficking designed to facilitate investigation, effective prosecution, enhanced victim safety planning and address offender accountability.
