Mission

Part 1: to provide housing, healthcare and other related services to the aged and improverished.Little sisters of the poor care for the elderly poor in the spirit of humble service which was received from jeanne jugan. They welcome the elderly as they would jesus christ himself and serve them with love and respect until death. - Part 3: the little sisters of the poor operate st. Augustine home of the aged, which provides nursing and residential care for the needy elderly. The home is part of the international congregation of the little sisters of the poor, (see schedule o for continuation)which was founded in france in 1839 and serves the elderly in 31 countries.

Licensed nursing facility (42-bed - 11,749 resident days served), boarding house living (25-bed - 6,978 resident days served) and independent living (26 apartment units - 7,537 resident days served). Provides room, board and intermediate care services for the elderly.
