All Programs
Residential services: - domestic violence emergency shelter - the 24/7 shelter and hotline for survivors of domestic violence, with comprehensive services including counseling, case management,family court assistance, tutoring for children, laundry, clothing and recreational activities. - Housing programs - includes keeping families together (kft) offering housing vouchers and comprehensive wrap-around services, substance abuse counseling and case management. - Transitional housing & rapid re-housing- offers short term/partial housing voucher service as well as other resources to help prevent homelessness and sustain stability.
Youth services: - amanda's easel - an art and other creative arts therapies program combined with support for parents/guardians affected by domestic violence. - 2nd floor youth helpline - is a toll free telephone helpline and website for children and adolescents throughout the state to call with their day to day concerns. Trained and supervised listeners encourage discussion and provide support, referrals and practical guidance. The program became statewide in 2008-2009.
Outreach services: - outreach counseling - provides supportive individual and/or group counseling for domestic violence, incest,rape,sexual assault at the hazlet main office, shore regional outreach office in long branch, and freehold annex. - Family justice center (fjc)- the fjc center co-located at the freehold superior court and 180 annex, provides legal services, family court assistance, liaison with prosecutor's office and county office of victim witness, and links survivors with a range of services providing added support. - Rape care program - the program provides a 24 hour hotline and crisis accompaniment at area hospitals,police and the courts. Supportive counseling, education and training of allied professionals is also provided.
