Residential programs:the agency has two residential programs in the city of boston for survivors and children made homeless by domestic violence: the mary l. Foreman emergency shelter and the teen parenting program (tpp). Serving individuals and families, the total per-night capacity is 18 adults and 26 children. Tpp specializes in supports for pregnant and parenting teens made homeless by family or domestic violence. In addition, casa myrna operates a housing program for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.
Supportive services:programs include community-based advocates at local courts and health centers, legal advocacy services, housing search assistance and advocacy, financial literacy/budgeting workshops and referrals to vocational and educational programs, programming for children, and support groups and individual counseling. Provides public awareness campaigns, outreach materials and education on the issue of domestic and dating violence.
The eva center:the eva center is a survivor-led, social justice oriented program whose mission is to empower women who have experienced sexual exploitation (prostitution, sex trafficking) to find solutions to the issues they face and exit the commercial sex industry. The eva center also works to challenge public perceptions and strongly advocate for specialized, survivor-led, strength-based programming that increases awareness of the many socio-economic and situational factors contributing to women and girls' entry into the sex trade.
